But“Convicted:Jailbreak” is not just a text quest with an interestingstoryline.It’s also a detective game! The first case you are tosolve: nurseJennifer Stone’s disappearance from East Castlesupermax prison. Inorder to find out what happened to this prisonnurse you’ll have toget familiar with the stories of six inmates.First character:Eddie Boyd, a thief. The Mafia kidnaps the wife ofa professionalthief Eddie Boyd to force him to fulfill a task inEast Castlehigh-security prison. He's supposed to find and stealthree rareJapanese netsukes. Having accomplished that Boyd willhave to makea jailbreak in the best traditions of the Prison BreakTV series.Second character: Carlos Luke, a smuggler. Some time agoCarlosused to be the best smuggler on both sides of the border. Nowhe’sgot to serve his sentence in a supermax prison and willgetinvolved in a quest full of dangerous adventures: Carlos has togetinside the prison drug trading group and steal the recipe ofabrand new drug. In a place where danger lurks in every shadow,theonly person whom Carlos can count on is himself. Thirdcharacter:Stanley Paulson. A journalist in the past, a convictedmurderernow, Paulson investigates the activity of a powerfulcriminalorganization. His journalist-colleague was found murdered,and allthe evidence of the crime pointed at Paulson. After havingspentsome time behind bars, Stan finally got a chance find therealmurderers of the journalist. But in order to do that he willhaveto complete a dangerous quest of searching for evidenceandexposing a huge criminal group. Fourth character: Blake Barret,adetective and undercover agent. Blake Barrett is a hardenedconvictand he’s not to be messed with! Nobody suspects Blake ofbeing anundercover agent. His job is to gather information aboutthe drugdealings in the prison. Will Barrett manage to keep hissecret, getthrough numerous dangerous adventures and expose thecriminals?Fifth character: Dexter Blackburn, a hitman. Dexter is aman who isfeared by everyone in the prison. His personal tragedymade him theway he is, a cold-blooded killer sweeping asideanything andeverything in its path. Though having gone to jail,Dexter gets anopportunity to take revenge on those who ruined hislife many yearsago. Now Dexter needs to decide whether he is avillain or a hero.Sixth character: Kyle Manson, a rebel. The mostambiguous characterin the text game “Convicted: Jailbreak”. Do youremember acharacter nicknamed T-Bag from the Prison Break TVseries? Kyle hasa lot in common with T-Bag: mentally unstable, ashadowy past andunclear future. Manson’s adventures will definitelyput you on theedge since this inmate starts a prison riot andfights against thesystem!
